Praying The Word

THIS PRAYER LIST will Do 3 Things
1. Help us Abide = John 15:4&8
2. Kills our Anxiety = Philippians 4:6-7
3. Access Power = Mark 9:29

  • 1 - Acknowledge God

    Begin with recognition of God's nature he is Father/King.
    (Matthew 6:9)

  • 2 - Influence in Relationships

    Request for God's influence in our lives and relationships.
    (Matthew 6:10)

  • 3 - Provision for His Will

    Request daily needs to fulfill God's will.
    (Matthew 6:11)

  • 4 - Forgiveness

    Ask for the ability to forgive others as we wish to be forgiven.
    (Matthew 6:12)

  • 5 - Resisting Temptation

    Pray for strength to ignore distractions from the enemy.
    (Matthew 16:13a)

  • 6 - Being a Light

    Pray for the Desire to reflect God's light through our lives.
    (Matthew 6:13b)

  • 7 - Acknowledgment of God’s Power

    Recognize God's authority and capability.
    (Matthew 28:18)

  • 8 - Sharing Knowledge of God

    Ask to be Encouraged to share experiences of God with others &

    …ask to be example of what a relationship with God looks like.
    (Matthew 28:19-20)

  • 9 - Be Influenced by Holy Spirit

    Be open to guidance from the Holy Spirit in conversations about Jesus.
    (Acts 1:8a)

  • 10 - Embrace all People

    Understand everyone we meet is important to God as we are he wants them Saved.
    (Acts 1:8b)

  • 11 - Commitment to Growth

    Dedicate ourselves to activities that improve us.
    (Acts 2:42a)

  • 12 - Engagement with The Word

    ask for the discipline to spend time reading, listening & learning the Word.
    (Acts 2:42b)

  • 13 - Real Fellowship

    Ask for Help Spend time with those who positively impact our lives & who’s lives we positively impact.
    (Acts 2:42c)

  • 14 - Quality and Quantity Time

    Aim for valuable interactions, viewing them as investments in the lives of others.
    (Acts 2:42d)

  • 15 - Prayer in Relationships

    Commit to praying with and for those we are connected to.
    (Acts 2:42c)

  • 16 - Positive Attitude Toward Work

    Maintain a good attitude towards God’s work and His workers.
    (Acts 2:43a)

  • 17 - See Miracles

    Anticipate experiencing miracles (when God does what cannot be done by human efforts).
    (Acts 2:43b)

  • 18 - Unity in Community

    Help us to create an environment where celebration of each other’s gifts outweighs any complaints we have
    …and that we are excited about the growth we are experiencing individually and collectively.

  • 19 - Financial Management

    Pray for effective management and multiplication of resources so that we have more options in our living and more opportunities in our giving.
    (Acts 2:45)

  • 20 - Church Attendance

    Attend church as an opportunity for growth & service
    …not obligation & enslavement!

  • 21 - Enjoyment of Relationships

    Help us to Appreciate each other daily as it aligns with God’s desire.
    Good Company = Good Times

  • 22 - Continuous Praise

    Maintain a spirit of praise regardless of circumstances,
    Knowing that our father has the power to do anything about any situation.
    (Acts 2:47a)

  • 23 - Walking in Favor

    Let us have favor in our interactions with one another.
    (Acts 2:47b)

  • 24 - Gratitude for Increase

    Thankfulness for the growth and blessings in various aspects of life that You WILL DO.
